In 1999, Artist Derek Rodarte set to define art from the ground up, the magical question was,. 'What is Art, who is Art, If art is? He started building a brand through his studies that would define a philosophy he called 5EW. Analysis showed that the 5EW code was not only fascinating, but a key for any artist, 5EW contains a critical competitive advantage through perspective, perception, environment, value & identity. 5EW is the brand that could define all brands through the meaning of what 5EW is, the Fifth Element of War, which is Art.

The "Androtica Series" is a collection of 33 original paintings inspired by ancient patterns from advanced civilizations, humanoid beings from a subatomic world and the Singularity. 5EW CANELO
Canelo is an up-and-coming terror of a fighter from Mexico. In Mid April Artist Derek Rodarte aka Royal d art got to meet him in big bear as he was training for the MAY 5th fight (Canelo vs. Sugar Shane Mosley) . Surprising him with this painting, it marked the start of the a new collection for the artist on the map in the boxing community. 5EW relation to the work is that its art. "even though making a play on the famous obey propaganda poster by putting boxers into the famous compositions of Shepard fairy,

time and time again to see water
freeze and sustain an image of mind , body and soul.
painting is of the soul purpose of showing beauty even in the depths of chaos,
